Wernher Magnus Maximilian Freiherr Von Braun (picture below) aerospace engineer and rocket scientist who was one of the brightest and most important men in the 20th century. His rockets are accredited to being first used in World War II as weapons, taking one of the first american astronauts to the moon, and many other incredible accomplishments like being one of the first rockets to rely on a liquid propellant. The great feats that Wernher accomplished is what gave him the nickname, "The Father of Rocket Science". In addition, the impact of Wernher Von Braun has heavily impacted interstellar travel and the way we fight in warfare today.
